In 2017 Houston was hit with one of the biggest Hurricanes to date. Water rose rapidly flooding homes with more than 6 feet of Category 3 water and debris.

 Category 3. This is the worst classification and is grossly unsanitary. It could cause severe illness or death if ingested. It used to be called black water, and sources include sewer backup, flooding from rivers or streams, toilet overflow with feces, and stagnant liquid that has begun to support bacterial growth.

The entire neighborhood community saw unprecedented flooding during this event. This project and many like it kept us in Houston for a month straight. Luckily, SERVPRO of Paris travels to storm ravaged areas of Texas and the rest of the country!
